Food Pantry Report - May 10, 2024

Updated: May 17

Over the week ending with 6 May, we received approximately 4.09 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 3.7 tons and about the same amount of perishable food to 380 families.

Shortages for the next two distributions (projecting 390 families each week): (1) canned soup (short approx. 633 cans), (2) pasta (short approx. 458 boxes), (3) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc.) (short c. 450 cans), (4) pasta sauce (short approx. 432 bottles/cans), (5) dry rice/beans (short c.370 pounds), (6) tuna/canned meat/canned fish (short c. 325 cans), (7) canned beans (short c. 303 cans), (8) canned fruit (short c. 275 cans), (9) canned vegetables (short approx. 193 cans), and (10) oatmeal (sort c.84 boxes).

We also need: Similac Blue and Similac Orange baby formula, and/or domestic or foreign equivalents/substitutes, No.6 diapers, baby wipes, and Pediasure, and adult diapers/Depends sizes small, medium and large. With thanks for a recent very large donation of the same, please hold off for the time being on any donation of extra large adult diapers/Depends.

Paper grocery bags (Wegmans or Trader Joe or Lidl size) and plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.

May God bless you for all your help for our work!
