Over the week ending with 29 April, we received approximately 3.44 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 3.62 tons and about the same amount of perishable food to 372 families.
Shortages for the next two distributions (projecting 390 families each week): (1) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc.) (short c. 525 cans), (2) tuna/canned meat/canned fish (short c. 481 cans), (3) pasta (short approx. 481 boxes), (4) canned fruit (short c. 480 cans), (5) pasta sauce (short approx. 480 bottles/cans), (6) canned beans (short c. 413 cans), (7) dry unsweetened cereal/oatmeal (sort c.294 boxes), (8) canned soup, (9) canned vegetables, (10) dry rice/beans, and (11) mac&cheese.
We also need: Similac Blue and Similac Orange baby formula, and/or domestic or foreign equivalents/substitutes, No.6 diapers, baby wipes, and Pediasure, and adult diapers/Depends sizes medium and large. With thanks for a recent very large donation of the same, please hold off for the time being on any donation of extra large adult diapers/Depends. Paper grocery bags (Wegmans or Trader Joe or Lidl size) and plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.
May God bless you for all your help for our work!
