Food Pantry Report/Shortages

Over the week ending with 25 March, we received approximately 3.94 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 4.17 tons and somewhat less perishable food to 428 families.


Shortages for the next two distributions (projecting 420 families each week): (1) pasta sauce (short approx. 516 bottles/cans), (2-tie) canned soup (short c. 440 cans), (2-tie) mac&cheese (sort c.440 boxes), (4) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc. short c. 400 cans), (5) canned fruit (short c. 388 cans), (6) canned vegetables (short c. 358 cans), (7) canned beans (short c. 330 cans), (8) dry unsweetened cereal/oatmeal (short c.228 boxes/bags), (9) tuna/canned meat/canned fish (short c.200 cans). and (10) pasta (short approx. 127 boxes),

We also need: No. 6 diapers, baby wipes, and Pediasure, as well as Ensure for adults, and adult diapers/Depends sizes medium and large ONLY.  With thanks for a recent very large donation of the same, please hold off for the time being on any donation of other sizes of adult diapers/Depends.


Paper grocery bags (Wegmans or Trader Joe or Lidl size) and plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.
