ST. MARTIN’S FOOD PANTRY REPORT - JULY 13, 2024

Over the week ending with 1 July, we received approximately 3.22 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 3.86 tons and somewhat more perishable food to 396 families. Over the week ending with 8 July, we received approximately 4.44 tons of non-perishable food, and gave out some 4.27 tons and about the same amount of perishable food to 439 families.


Shortages for the next two distributions (projecting 410 families for each week): (1) canned soup (short approx. 821 cans), (2) canned vegetables (short approx. 651 cans), (3) pasta (short approx. 556 boxes), (4) pasta sauce (short c.520 bottles/ cans), (5) canned fruit (short c. 496 cans), (6) tuna/canned meat/canned fish (short c. 458 cans), (7) canned beans (short c. 449 cans), (8) mac & cheese (short approx. 420 boxes), (9) “meals in a can” (stew, canned pasta, chili, etc. - short c. 396 cans) (10) dry rice/beans (short c.356 pounds), and (11) oatmeal/cereal (short c.292 boxes).


We also need: Similac Blue and Similac Orange baby formula, and/or domestic or foreign equivalents/substitutes, baby food, Nos. 3, 4. 5 and 6 diapers, baby wipes, Pediasure, Ensure, and adult diapers/Depends sizes small, and medium. With thanks for a recent very large donation of the same, please hold off for the time being on any donation of size large or extra-large adult diapers/Depends.


Paper grocery bags (Wegmans or Trader Joe size) and plastic newspaper bags and plastic grocery bags are always needed.
